South Dakota Correctional Facility

Henry Carlson and JE Dunn, a joint venture, is building the new correctional facility on the east side of Sioux Falls. The replacement facility will feature 1,488 beds with 1,188 cells and 300 dorms. The new campus will replace the 140-year-old prison that currently stands.
