Brookings County Detention Center Expansion and Remodel

Phase one of the project completed in December 2021. The new addition includes a new sallyport, booking station, kitchen, jail cell pods and rooms for recreation and programs. The facility will be able to hold a maximum of 85 inmates. Phase two of the project was a renovation of the existing facility, including classrooms and offices.
