Minnehaha County Administration and Extension Building Renovation
The project included moving Minnehaha County’s Commission Chambers and Administration offices up a floor while revamping the second floor, now serving as the home to all State’s Attorney Offices. This reinforced County security, department collaboration, and employee satisfaction. The secure setting provided an ideal location for the Commission meeting room – a space with upgraded finishes furnishings, and technology. The Minnehaha County Commission space embraces a fusion of the building’s historic and modern elements, including a fresh color palette, a new dais and a County seal emblem on the back wall, symbolizing civic pride of County and Community.
The Administration building remained occupied by staff and open to the public during the various construction phases. The County also remodeled the Extension building which included minor floor plan reconfiguration and replacement of interior finishes. The Extension building will not be occupied during construction.
