The five-story building features 400 parking spaces, with the first four floors designated for patient and employee parking. The top floor of the new building houses the Sanford Center for Digestive Health, including the first-of-its-kind GI fellowship program in the Dakotas. In addition to the Fellowship Program, the 45,000 square foot Center for Digestive Health features 10 procedure rooms and 40 pre- and post-procedure rooms. The design of the new building includes all the clinic space adjacent to the procedure space within the top floor of MB1.
Construction on the 237,000-square-foot, five-story building began in early 2022 and has the ability to add three more levels on top for future growth.
