JT Thomas Retires after 43 Years
Today is JT Thomas’ last day at Henry Carlson Construction, LLC. JT started with the company in 1977. Taking a look back at 1977: Elvis performed in Sioux Falls and later died that same year. Minerva’s opened its doors in downtown Sioux Falls. Jimmy Carter was president. The average cost of a house was $49,000. Movies Star Wars and Saturday Night Fever premier in theaters.
JT has spent his last few years at HCC as the in-house superintendent on the Sanford Health campus. During retirement, JT and his wife Jolene are going to spend more time at their place on the river in Yankton and will travel more.
Even though we are unable to have a party to celebrate JT, he will be missed by everyone. Congratulations JT!
