Sanford & Lewis Drug Opening New Western Sioux Falls Location

It’s no secret that western Sioux Falls is growing quickly, but did you know that if you just consider the population west of Interstate 29, it would be the third largest city in South Dakota?

Due to that growth, you’ll now find more healthcare facilities in this area.

Just over a year ago KELOLAND News gave you a first look inside Avera’s new western Sioux Falls ER and clinic.

Now Sanford and Lewis Drug are also heading further west with a new building at 32nd Street and Ellis Road.

“The west side is underserved right now,” Sanford Dr. Brad Palmer said.

“We’re growing with Sioux Falls. As the population moves and development expands, we’re going with that,” Lewis Drug Corporate Vice President Nikki Griffin said.

Sanford will be relocating its clinic from 41st and Sertoma to 32nd and Ellis. The new building will be twice as big and offer new services. Watch on KELOLAND.
