Shawndra is our newest Project Accountant. Originally from Platte, SD, Shawndra has her Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting and Business Administration from the University of Sioux Falls.
Philip Tinklenberg
Phil has 20 years of construction experience; including foundations, flatwork, framing, structural, welding, finish carpentry and management of teams, as well as subcontractors. He is experienced in building and sustaining strong relationships with owners, subcontractors and peers.
Trent De Weerd
Trent is a dedicated and hardworking project manager. He has a consistent track record of successful project execution; consistently exceeding budget expectations and building great relationships with subcontractors and owners. He works well under pressure and brings a diverse skill set along with a willingness and ambition to learn.
Chris Miller
A Nebraska native, Chris graduated from SDSU with a degree in Construction Management. As a field engineer, Chris works alongside various members of the construction team, coordinating with the site superintendent and project manager regarding details of daily operations to keep projects running smoothly.
Blaid Friedrichs
Blaid, a Minnesota native, has a background in retail and commercial construction. As a field engineer, he works alongside various members of the construction team, coordinating with the site superintendent and project manager regarding details of daily operations. He utilizies his exceptional multitasking skills by efficiently running various activities.
Jeff McLaughlin
A US Navy veteran, Jeff uses his excellent communication and team leader skills to execute construction projects. He has deep and varied experience in supervision, jobsite safety, detailed quantity estimating and scheduling. He utilizes his excellent communication skills to guide each project to a successful conclusion.
Trevor Heinemann
After his engineering summer internship with a heavy civil contractor, Trevor decided to work in the construction industry. Jarod Goepferich
Before graduating from South Dakota State University and joining our team, Jarod was an intern for Kiewit for the past two summers. He has the ability to organize, prioritize and work under pressure with heavy workloads and deadlines. Jarod communicates with owners, field staff and management to ensure projects are completed on schedule.

Matt is in charge of all accounting, job costing, treasury and electronic data processing for Henry Carlson Companies. Trevor Overweg
Trevor is an experienced accountant with a demonstrated history of working in finance. Trevor is originally from Platte, SD and grew up working for his father’s residential construction business and worked in commercial construction for a few years. He graduated with a BA in Business from University of Sioux Falls in the spring of 2021.
