Amanda works directly with our CFO and our accounting department. She has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in human resource management. She has over 16 years of accounting experience in the construction industry.
Verlin is one of our more seasoned superintendents. He has worked on countless projects, many of them on the Sanford Health campus. Before coming to Henry Carlson Construction, he served in a combat engineer unit in the South Dakota Army National Guard for six years and also did overseas construction work.
Diane is the welcoming face and voice that greets everyone at the office. In addition to answering phones and greeting visitors, Diane handles all incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries. She maintains the subcontractor insurance certificates, requests bonds and assists the accounting department by reconciling statements.
Sherry has over 10 years of accounting experience. She supports our CFO and Controller by processing and monitoring payments and expenditures for the company and fielding communications with vendors and subcontractors.
Jessica prepares, designs and coordinates all promotional materials for the for Henry Carlson Construction and ASCO. This includes proposals, monthly reports, advertisements and the employee newsletter. She is also in charge of updating content for the HCC and ASCO websites and all social media platforms.
Jeff grew up in the construction industry working for his dad at Husman Construction before his dad’s passing. He is a versatile employee, he has mastered running a tower crane over the City of Sioux Falls to running a detailed, complex residential job.

Scott has almost 20 years of experience in the construction field. He collaborates with owners, design teams, office and field staff in order to efficiently manage and leverage 3D models and projects standards from design development, building construction and building closeout phases of the projects.
Travis’s attention to detail is the key to success for any project. Travis utilizes his total robotic station and layout skills to increase accuracy of the jobsite layouts and quality checks. He also utilizes Procore, our cloud-based construction management software application, to increase project efficiency and subcontractor accountability by providing streamlined project communication and documentation.
Chris has over 18 years of experience with Henry Carlson Construction. Before becoming a superintendent, Chris was a steel/precast foreman.
